Schlitterbahn
Galveston Island Waterpark provides housing to all students
hired on CIEE Roadshow Trips and to the first 10 return students
who sign contracts with CIEE. All of the apartments are located
at the same apartment building complex.
The apartment
building is located a few miles away from Schlitterbahn, but
they do provide students with a van shuttle service to and from
work, to the grocery store and other select locations on the
island. The apartment complex will provide students a van
schedule upon arrival. Students wishing to travel outside of the
van schedule will be responsible for making and paying for their
own transportation. Advance requests for additional
transportation are accepted, but are not guaranteed.

All apartments have the following:
Kitchen Stove and Oven
Full size refrigerator with freezer and ice maker

for eating and preparing meals

Free high speed Internet access
Telephone with local service (telephone included)
Sofa and/or armchairs

Bedroom furniture to include twin beds, and bedside
tables. Each bedroom has a closet
Linens for the bedroom and bathroom as will as a shower curtain
Most apartments include a washer and dryer (efficiency
apartments do not have a washer and dryer, but there is an
onsite coin-operated laundry mat for student use.)
