How to Get Here
Students wishing to have
immediate transportation provided to their apartment upon
arrival should arrive at Houston Hobby Airport or Houston Bush
Intercontinental Airport Monday though Saturday (no Sundays)
between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. This will allow you time
to process through customs and immigration, claim your luggage
and meet your shuttle. The last available company-provided
shuttle departs at 2:00 p.m. and arrives at the apartments at
4:00 p.m. Students arriving on Sundays or after 1:00 p.m. and
before 8:00 a.m. will be responsible for arranging their own
transportation at their own expense.

MISS YOUR SCHLITTERBAHN PROVIDED SHUTTLE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE
FOR ARRANGING FOR ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION TO SCHLITTERBAHN.
The apartment office processes
student arrivals from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through
Saturday only. If you arrive at the apartments before or after
this time, you will need to make alternate arrangement to stay
in a hotel until the office opens again.
If you miss your shuttle or
choose to make your own transportation arrangements, please
understand that taxi's from the airport to Galveston Island are
VERY EXPENSIVE! You can expect to pay $150.00 to $200.00 per
person for a taxi to Galveston Island. Students should bring
$100 to $150 American currency with them just in case they
arrive late or arrive at a time other than planned, and have to
make their own travel arrangements. Taxi cabs are located
outside of airports 24 hours a day, but you can also visit the
information desk at the airport to request a cab.
