job duties include but are not limited to cleanliness of the
park, sweeping walkways, decks and paved areas, removing litter
from all areas, emptying ashtrays and trash cans, cleaning guest
bathroom areas, light housekeeping duties in office areas, line
control, hosing down pedestrian areas, cleaning benches and
tables, moving and inflating tubes and guest service.
Meet your boss
- Doug White, Director of Operations - Doug has been a
Schlitterbahn
employee for nearly two decades. He knows the waterpark
business inside and out, especially Schlitterbahn Waterparks.
Doug has worked for Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn
Beach Waterpark and most recently joined the Schlitterbahn
Galveston Island Family in August of 2005. Doug heads up the
Operations department, and has two managers, Christopher
Williams and Joe Kowrach, who assist with employee and park
operations.
On his days off, Doug enjoys
spending time with his wife, Melissa, their son Talon and his
dogs as well as playing Guitar Hero.
